What’s your performance/mixing style?
Open-format, seamless blends. We read the room in real time—building energy arcs that mix classics with current hits while honoring your must-plays and do-not-plays.

What genres do you cover? How current is your library?
Everything from Motown and disco to Top 40, hip-hop, country, Latin, Afrobeats, EDM, and classics. Our music library is updated continuously; clean edits are available for family-friendly moments.

Can we give must-play / do-not-play lists? Will you take guest requests?
Yes, and yes (with your guardrails). We honor all do-not-play lists; guest requests are filtered through your preferences and the dance-floor flow.

Can you help with ceremony & spotlight songs?
Absolutely. We’ll guide song selection for the processional, recessional, grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, cake, last song, and more—plus provide timing advice for smooth transitions.

How do you pack the dance floor—especially with a shy crowd?
We layer familiar hooks, era bridges, and smart tempo ramps; interact as needed (without over-talking); and time slow-downs to reset the room so peaks hit harder.

EMCEE & FLOW

Do you also act as emcee?
Yes. Expect clear, classy announcements (names pronounced correctly), timeline leadership alongside your planner, and coordination with catering/photography so key moments are never missed.

Do you provide microphones?
Yes. We supply professional wireless mics for ceremony, toasts, and blessings and can add mic stands, lapel mics, and backup units as needed.

GEAR, SETUP & TECH

What equipment do you use? Do you bring backups?
We bring professional DJ controllers/turntables, laptops with redundant libraries, digital mixers, pro speakers/subs, and backup gear on site. Outdoor plans can include weather covers and alternate power strategies.

What are your power and space needs?
Typical reception footprint: ~8–12 ft wide area, (1) 20-amp circuit minimum; larger rooms or add-ons (subwoofers, lighting, LED walls) may require additional circuits. We’ll confirm specifics after your walkthrough.

Do you carry insurance?
Yes. Sifi Entertainment is fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for your venue upon request.

Will you do a soundcheck?
Yes—coordinated with your venue timeline to verify mics, coverage, and levels before guests arrive.

LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS

When do you arrive? How long is setup/breakdown?
Typical load-in is 90–120 minutes prior; large rooms and enhancements may need more. Breakdown is usually 45–75 minutes. We coordinate loading docks, elevators, and venue rules in advance.

Do you book more than one event per day?
Select team members may perform multiple events on a weekend; your contracted DJ focuses on your timeline and is scheduled to arrive with ample buffer.

Do you require vendor meals or have dietary needs?
A vendor meal is appreciated for bookings of 5+ hours; please let us know about dietary notes in advance.

PRICING, PACKAGES & POLICIES

Do you offer packages? What’s included?
We start with your vision and build a custom package—typically covering ceremony audio, cocktail hour, reception DJ/MC, wireless mics, planning, and timeline coordination, with optional enhancements listed above.

Is setup/breakdown included? What about overtime?
Setup and breakdown are included unless the venue requires unusually early loads or late strikes. Overtime is available by the hour (subject to venue approval and curfew).

What’s the deposit and payment schedule? What forms of payment do you accept?
A retainer secures your date with installments through final payment. We accept major payment methods and provide digital invoices.

What’s your cancellation/reschedule policy?
It’s outlined in your contract and covers postponements, cancellations, and force-majeure scenarios.

Do you charge travel fees?
Local Atlanta events are typically included; travel or lodging fees may apply for distant or destination weddings. We’re Atlanta-based and available worldwide.
